Appointed by the Selectmen, Brenda is responsible for under Massachusetts law (MGL Ch 41 Sec. 55) . The Animal Control Deparment responds to and acts upon over 2,500 calls per year. The Department in availble 24-7, with afternoon (4 pm to 7 am) and weekend calls dispatched on an "emergency" call basis, through the Millis & Medway Police Departments.
