Site Requirements
The following checklists represents the various tasks that need to be completed before we make the new website live.   There will likely be a few others as we get closer to the go live date.  Our implementation coordinator will review these lists with you.

Initial Needs
A.  Submit names of all Departments and Boards you want listed on the site.  You can add/edit these at any future date.
B.  Submission of Department & Board Content:  We need your help to push your folks to submit their content periodically throughout this process.
C.  What will your website address be?  Have you registered the name for your municipality?
D.  Who will host your domain name?  VTH can do it or you can use your current provider.  Either way, we need the name and contact info of your current domain name host.
E.  Send Us Comments:  Usually there is a drop down menu for a listing of either departments or topics and their associated email addresses for forwarding along the comments.  We need your menu and emails.  Click here for samples of other sites.
F.  Subscribe to News:  We can create mini-list serves for people to opt-in and receive your postings automatically as email in their inboxes without going to the website.  Usually these are a combination of News Items, Job Postings, Board Minutes and/or Board Agendas.  Which items to start out? G.  Meetings Calendar:  Please submit to us the next 4-6 months of upcoming public meetings.
H.  Website Disclaimers & Privacy Policy:  Please submit any disclaimers you want linked off your home page.Click here to view some examples.
I.  About Your Town:  We need the content you want us to create that provides background info on your municipality..
J.  Minutes & Agendas:  We need a list of which boards want to post Minutes and which Boards want to post Agendas.

Pre-Launch Checklist Before the Site Goes Live
A.  Submission of Department & Board Content:  We need your help to push your folks to submit their content periodically throughout this process.
B.  Submission of Primary User Names
C.  Please tell us if you have a proposed or target GO LIVE date.  
D.  Training day(s) needs to be scheduled
E.  HOME PAGE CONTENT:
-  If you want to launch with an Urgent News Banner, need content                                       
-  You should post 2-3 real items within your News & Notices sections.
-  Please submit to us a suggestion of some "Useful Links"  Links you want to appear on your home page.  
-  Please submit to us or post any "Welcome to" copy or text you want on the home page.
