4th Quarter FY2013 Real Estate & Personal Property Tax Bills Are Due On 05-01-13. In January, you should have received two payment coupons in the mail. One for the 02-01-13 3rd Quarter payment and one for this 05-01-13 4th Quarter payment. If you have lost the May coupon, please call our office and we will provide you with the amount due.
Description of Services
The Town of Millis has elected to combine the tax collection and treasury functions. Collection is responsible for the billing and collection of real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle excise taxes and for the billing and collection of water and sewer charges. Collection also provides on request, at a fee of $25.00, municipal lien certificates. Treasury, in addition to several financial and administrative functions involving non-tax revenue, payroll, tax reporting, employee benefits, and debt issue and debt service, is also responsible for collecting delinquent real estate taxes that have been liened and recorded at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds.
