The Millis Council on Aging of Millis is a non-profit organization that provides services to seniors and their families. Our Council on Aging was established to identify the local needs of the community's elderly and handicapped residents. We provide community based in home services in an effort to enable the elderly to live a healthy, safe and relevantly independent life in their own familiar surroundings. The Council on Aging of Millis provides programs and services such as Meals on Wheels, a congregate meal site, Supportive Day Care, case management, information and referral services, and volunteer opportunities. We provide vital links to State and local programs that senior residents need to access to remain independent in the community.  Our goal is to improve the health status, increase economic security, decrease caregiver stress, and improve the overall quality of life of older and disabled adults. These goals are achieved through programs, services and presentations offered by the Center. Programs and services are offered to all Millis residents aged sixty or older and, disabled residents.

The focal point of senior activity is the Senior Center, located in the lower level of the Memorial Building at 900 Main Street across from the Millis Police & Fire Station on Route 109. The Millis Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., with occasional afternoon and evening programs as well.
