MISSION STATEMENT
The Town of Millis has received a grant to conduct a development study of its downtown; particularly the Ann & Hope, GAF, and Herman Shoe Parcels. The focus of the grant is to create potential development scenarios for the downtown which will provide the town with the opportunity to shape its future. The Board of Selectmen has appointed a Downtown Development Steering Committee which is working with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and Larry Koff and Associates to conduct a marketing feasibility study and analysis, a zoning review, and a demographic review, all to determine what types of uses could be supported downtown. The initial findings of the study have been discussed but public input is essential to the successful outcome of the project. The Board of Selectmen and the Steering
Committee would appreciate your taking the time to help us guide the future development of our downtown.
